Just Looking…

There are a few things that I have my eye on and of course I cannot afford them so I opted on doing myself the favor of a groundbreaking activity that I call Kaboodle-ing. This activity can also be called Polyvore-ing or even Shopstyle-ing—either way these are forums where you can shop virtually from the comfort of your own easy chair. What makes it unique and LUSTFUL (and of course you probably know more about it than myself) is that you can get a complete outfit, a fabulous look that can be transformed into many all with the click of a mouse. Why do I find this new technology so wonderful? Because I am the sort of shopper who shops by piece. I pick something out thinking it would be a great accompaniment to something else and I never end up buying that something else because I’m distracted by the bright shiny things underglass by the painted lady passing out free spritzes of more somethings I don’t need. And the shopping experience ends up being a wash and I’ve just spent 80.00 on something that will be waiting in my closet until I get that other thing that it belongs with…Of course if I can even remember that she needs her mate.

Put ANYTHING your little hear desires on this glorious style sheet/ wish list / dreamboard thing-a-majig and format the heck out of it.  make it all cool like a magazine layout.  But watch out it becomes terribly addictive dreaming about $3,000 shoes and $400.00 jeans matched with your favorite nail polish—and some of the chicks on this site are UBER-GENIUSES at formatting and styling a blank canvas…you will salivate with envy after looking through a few of these.

Now with this I can actually go to the store and find like versions of what I’ve assembled OR exact versions (heh!) At this point all I can afford is the polish but…such is life, my dears…Here’s to dreaming!
